NEWS SOURCE: Turning Point PROctober 4, 2007 NASHVILLE, Tenn.— Multi-Dove Award-winning and gold-selling Curb recording artist Selah is celebrating 10 years of music and ministry with the October 9 release of Timeless: The Selah Collection, a box set of the group’s seminal recordings. The retrospective contains three of Selah’s Dove Award-winning albums: Be Still My Soul, Press On, and Hiding Place, along with a bonus CD of selections from other Selah projects, previously unreleased cuts and new songs. The bonus disc features the group’s new single, “Rescue Me,” which was written by Selah’s Todd Smith, along with Chris Eaton. The song has been serviced to Christian radio formats and is also slated for inclusion on a forthcoming new studio recording from the group. Timeless: The Selah Collection comes with a 52-page booklet chronicling Selah’s history, including numerous group and personal photos. The booklet also contains the lyrics and credits for each of the collection’s 47 songs. “Selah has amassed an amazing body of work over the past few years,” said Dennis Hannon, EVP/GM, Curb Records. “This box set is a wonderful reflection of how they have evolved as individuals and musicians and gives us an insight as to the wonderful things we can expect from them in the years to come.” Founded in 1997 by Allan Hall and siblings Todd Smith and Nicol Sponberg, Selah’s 1999 debut, Be Still My Soul, introduced the group’s now signature arrangements of hymns and classic songs of faith.
